COLUMBUS – The Mud Hens continued their offensive onslaught against the Clippers, winning Wednesday night’s game 13-5 to complete a three-game sweep at Huntington Park.
Toledo outscored Columbus 36-15 during the series, banging out 42 hits, including 11 home runs.
Victor Reyes hit two homers for the second straight game as he collected five during the series. Dustin Peterson hit a solo shot in the ninth for his third homer of the series.
Matt Hall (4-3) got the win for Toledo while Michael People (3-2) took the loss for the Clippers, who welcome Norfolk to town for a four-game series starting Thursday night.
