COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police say they have arrested the alleged hit man in a murder-for-hire scheme.
The investigation by detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Career Criminal Unit and the Narcotics Bureau led to the Wednesday night arrest of Xay Amnathphonthip at his Hanford Street home on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, police said.
Police say Amnathphonthip, 56, provided the names of the intended victims, a weapon, ammunition and details of the locations of the targets.
