COLUMBUS – A man wanted in connection with a homicide earlier this month was arrested Tuesday in Fremont in northwest Ohio, police said.
Davon Martin was charged with murder in the Jan. 14 shooting death of Tyrese Saunders during an exchange of gunfire on the Northeast Side, Sgt. James Marable of the Homicide Unit said.
Detectives say the two men were fighting in the 1000 block of Leona Avenue when Martin allegedly shot Saunders, 21, who fired several shots at Martin after being wounded.
Saunders, 21, died later at Grant Medical Center.
