COLUMBUS – Columbus police say a suspect in a violent June attack on the Hilltop that left one man dead should be considered armed and dangerous.
Murder and felonious assault charges were filed Tuesday against Joseph Kibby in the shooting death of Lee Bussey and the shooting of Timothy Montgomery during a home invasion robbery in the 400 block of S. Harris Avenue early on the morning of June 28, Homicide Unit detectives said.
Police say it was Kibby, 29, who shot Bussey and Montgomery and assaulted Stevie Montgomery, leaving her with serious facial injuries.
Kibby’s whereabouts are currently unknown and police say he is to be considered “armed and dangerous”.
