COLUMBUS – An estimated 18,000 runners are expected to take part in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon Sunday.

Now in its 38th year, the Columbus marathon is the largest in Ohio and one of the top 20 in the U.S. while the half-marathon is the largest in Columbus.
More than $6 million has been raised for Nationwide Children’s Hospital since the hospital became the title beneficiary of the event in 2012.
