COLUMBUS, Ohio – Research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is helping develop technology needed to help track concussions in young athletes.
A grant from the National Institutes of Health and National Football League will fund a study into a mobile app that would provide real-time diagnosis of concussions and monitor those athletes to determine when they can safely return to the field.
It’s one of only eight studies of its kind in the country.
