COLUMBUS, Ohio – Construction crews are wrapping up work for the year on the ramp at I-270 and Cleveland Avenue on the Northeast Side and it should be completed by the Friday morning commute, weather permitting, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Crews will re-stripe the ramps at Cleveland Ave. and I-270 westbound and reconfigure the ramp from northbound Cleveland Ave. to I-270 eastbound.
Thursday night crews will realign the top of the ramp from Cleveland Ave. north to I-270 eastbound to the traffic signal. Traffic will use the existing entrance ramp and will not be impacted overnight.
By 5:00 a.m. Friday, the ramp will be in its new configuration. That means drivers will have to come to the traffic signal and make a right turn to access I-270 east.
