COLUMBUS – Franklin County Public Health officials reported Wednesday morning that a 2-year-old boy tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
The brings the number of cases in Franklin County to five, including two in the city of Columbus.
The state Tuesday reported there were 67 confirmed cases of COVID-19, up from 50 on Monday.
The 41 male patients and 36 females are scattered over 16 counties and range in age from 14 to 86.
Seventeen of the patients have been hospitaized, including a 23-year-old Columbus woman.
