NFL Draft: 7 Buckeyes chosen

COLUMBUS – Wide receiver Noah Brown was selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys to cap a seven-member draft class for a program that has produced 19 picks the past two seasons and 33 in Urban Meyer’s five years as coach.

This year’s draft was held April 27-29 in Philadelphia along the Ben Franklin Parkway and in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Ohio State’s NFL Draft Class of 2017:
1st Round
No. 11 – CB Marshon Lattimore, New Orleans Saints
No. 15 – SAF Malik Hooker, Indianapolis Colts
No. 24 – CB Gareon Conley, Oakland Raiders
2nd Round
No. 40 – WR Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers
No. 54 – LB Raekwon McMillan, Miami Dolphins

3rd Round

No. 70 – OC Pat Elflein, Minnesota Vikings

7th Round

No. 239 – WR Noah Brown, Dallas Cowboys

The 18 draft picks over the last two seasons are one short of the two-draft high of 19 for the Ohio State program, set during the 2003 and 2004 drafts.

Ohio State has never had eight first-round draft picks over two drafts as it has done in these past two drafts.
