COLUMBUS (AP) — The non-conference schedule is done for No. 3 Ohio State, which welcomes Big Ten foe Wisconsin to the Horseshoe for a Saturday night game.
(3) Ohio State (3-0), vs. Wisconsin (2-1); Ohio Stadium, Columbus OH; Saturday, Sept. 24 (7:30 p.m./ABC)
After routing Toledo last week, the Buckeyes will get a stiffer challenge against the Badgers. Same with Wisconsin, which was tripped up by underdog Washington State in Week 2.
Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud threw five touchdown passes last week as the Ohio State offense rolled up 763 yards.
To beat the Badgers, Ohio State’s overhauled defense will have to slow a run-heavy offense featuring Braelon Allen, a 1,200-yard rusher last season.
