COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller wasn’t one of the six players invited to New York for the Heisman Trophy presentation.
The finalists are Florida State’s Jameis Winston, Alabama’s A.J. McCarron, Northern Illinois’ Jordan Lynch, Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel, Auburn’s Tre Mason and Boston College’s Andre Williams.
Miller came in fifth in the voting last season.
The junior from Huber Heights rushed for 1,033 yards and 10 touchdowns and added 1,860 passing yards and 22 touchdowns in leading the Buckeyes to a 12-1 season. He joined Art Schlichter as the only Buckeyes to gain over 8,000 yards of total offense in his career.
