COLUMBUS – Police are looking for clues in the murder of a 48-year-old man found lying in the front yard of a North Linden home late Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the 1000 block of Loretta Avenue shortly after 11:15 p.m. on the report of a shooting found Kenneth Pearson critically injured from several gunshot wounds, lying in the front yard, Sgt. Jeffrey Strayer of the Homicide Unit said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators had no known suspect or motive early Wednesday, Strayer said.
This is the 62nd homicide of 2015 in Columbus.
