DUBLIN – Drivers who are used to you-can’t-get-there-from-here in the Dublin area will find that even more true Monday morning when a key ramp closes as part of the project to reconstruct the I-270/US33/SR161 interchange.

Those motorists trying to get from downtown Dublin to Hilliard, I-70 or Grove City will find themselves detoured when the existing loop ramp closes permanently at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, city officials said.
The ramp from westbound US 33 to southbound I-270 will close so crews can complete construction of one of the new ramps scheduled to open in late 2016.
The ODOT posted detour is US 33 west to I-270 north to Sawmill Road and back to I-270 south (above).
Local drivers may take Frantz Road to Tuttle Crossing Boulevard to I-270 southbound (right).
