Ohio Wesleyan stabbing

DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) – Prosecutors say a 23-year-old Delaware man accused of stabbing a central Ohio college class president as he slept in his fraternity house has been indicted on four charges, including attempted murder.

Police allege Nicholas Eber stabbed Anthony Peddle, 21, in the Chi Phi fraternity house at Ohio Wesleyan University because of a relationship dispute involving Peddle’s roommate.

Peddle suffered hand injuries in the May 3 stabbing. A statement from the Delaware County prosecutor says Peddle was found bleeding profusely and had to be flown to a Columbus hospital.

Eber also is charged with felonious assault, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence. He had no attorney listed in court records.
