COLUMBUS, Ohio – Several road projects are underway in downtown Columbus, making for a bumper crop of orange barrels this weekend.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY – I-71 North CLOSED between I-70 and I-670 for bridge and pavement repairs.
Ramp closures:
8:00 P.M.
Parsons Ave/Main St. to I-71 north. Detour: Parsons Ave. to Broad St. to 4th St. to I-670 east to I-71 north
Broad St. to I-71 north. Detour: Broad to 4th St. to I-670 east to I-71 north
Spring St. to I-71 north. Detour: 4th St. to I-670 east I-71 north
Cleveland Ave. north AND south to I-71 north. North detour: Cleveland Ave. to 5th Ave. to I-71 north. South detour: Mt. Vernon Ave. west to 4th St. north to I-670 east to I-71 north
Miller-Kelton to I-70 west. Detour: Miller Ave. to Livingston Ave. to 4th to 2nd/Mound St. ramp to I-70 west
I-670 east to I-71 north. Detour: I-670 east to SR 315 north to I-270 east to I-71 north
10:00 p.m. – ramps from I-70 east and west to I-71 north close. Detour SR 315 north to I-270 east to I-71 north.
5:00 a.m. Monday: All lanes and ramps open.
FRIDAY-SATURDAY – I-70 WEST CLOSED downtown to the Scioto River for final striping, pavement markers and resurfacing.
FRIDAY 10:00 p.m. – I-70 west closed from Livingston Avenue to the Scioto River.
Ramp closures:
8:00 p.m.
3rd St. to I-70 west. The detour is 3rd to Livingston Ave. to 4th St. to Mound St. to I-70 west.
10:00 p.m.
Alum Creek Drive to I-70 west
Livingston Avenue to I-70 west
Detour for I-70 west is I-270 north to I-670 west to I-71 south to I-70 west. (Ramp from I-71 south to I-70 reduced to one lane.)
SATURDAY
6:00 a.m. – Ramps from 3rd to I-70 west and all lanes of the ramp from I-71 south to I-70 west are open.
3:00 p.m. – All lanes of I-70 west are open.
I-670 WEST (4th St. to I-70 on the West Side) closed 7:00 p.m. Saturday night to 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
I-670 west will be reduced to two lanes between 4th Street and I-70 for final striping and pavement markings. By 6 a.m. Sunday, all lanes of I-670 west will be open
I-71 south (I-670 to Spring St) 7:00 p.m. Sunday night to 5:00 a.m. Monday morning
SUNDAY
7:00 p.m. – I-71 south reduced to two lanes between I-670 and Spring St. for bridge painting.
8:00 p.m. – ramp from 5th Ave. to I-71 south will close. (Note: You will still be able to access I-670 from 5th Ave.)
10:00 p.m. – I-71 south reduced to one lane between I-670 and Spring St.
5:00 a.m. Monday – all lanes and ramps are open.
