OSU 52, Maryland 24

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State welcomed Maryland to the Big Ten with a 52-24 shellacking Saturday afternoon at Byrd Stadium in College Park.

Buckeye quarterback J.T. Barrett threw for 267 yards and four touchdown while rushing for 71 and as score as the Ohio State (4-1, 1-0) offense gained over 500 yards for the thirds straight game.

Ezekiel Elliot ran for 139 of OSU’s 269 rushing yards.

The Ohio State offense again jumped out to an early lead, 31-10 at halftime while the defense, looking improved since last week’s much-maligned performance against Cincinnati, held the Terrapins (4-2, 1-1) to 21 second half points.
