COLUMBUS, Ohio – Darryce Moore led the way with 16 points as the Buckeyes jumped out to a big first-half lead and held on to beat North Carolina Central 65-47 in women’s basketball Sunday at Value City Arena.

Moore added six rebounds and four assists as Ohio State (10-6) took the lead from the opening tip and opened up a 28-16 halftime lead.

Ohio State got 38 of its points from the bench, including Maleeka Kynard’s 11 points.

Khyra Conerly paced the Eagles (5-5) with 12 points.
