COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes will play at least four night games this season.
The Buckeyes’ schedule includes the Oct. 17 game at Ohio Stadium vs. Penn State, the Oct. 24 game at Rutgers and the Nov. 7 game at Ohio Stadium vs. Minnesota, the university announced Thursday.
Start times for the Penn State and Rutgers games have been set for 8:00 p.m., while the game with Minnesota will start at either 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.
Ohio State opens its season with a primetime game on ESPN at Virginia Tech. A start time has not been determined, but the game, from Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va., will be televised by ESPN.
Ohio State is officially 46-23 in night games, defined as those that started after 5:00 p.m. local time. That includes a 12-4 record in night games played at Ohio Stadium.
