COLUMBUS – The annual Blood Battle drive between Ohio State and Michigan begins Wednesday.
The goal of the drive, which runs until Nov. 25 is to collect at least 1,500 donations to restock the blood supply for patients at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at a time when there is a reported blood shortage due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The kickoff event is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Schottenstein Center.
There are more than 40 blood donor events scheduled between now and the end of the Blood Battle.
