OSU-PSU game may be decisive

(AP) — Penn State is not Ohio State’s biggest rival. But the Nittany Lions have recently been the most serious threat to the Buckeyes for Big Ten supremacy.

(4) OSU (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) at (9) Penn St. (4-0, 1-0): Beaver Stadium, State College, Pa. (Sat. 7:30 p.m./ABC)

They have split the last two meetings, with the winner going on to a Big Ten championship each time.

The two teams boast college football’s top two scoring offenses.

Ohio State will be without its best defensive player, arguably the best player in the nation. Nick Bosa is out, possibly until November, after surgery for a lower torso muscle injury suffered in Buckeyes’ game at TCU.
