OSU/Maryland game a noon kickoff

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – When Maryland makes its first trip ever to Ohio Stadium it’ll be an early start.

NEW: Season opener prime time start

The defending national champion Buckeyes’ homecoming game on Oct. 10 against the Terrapins will kick off at noon.

The TV carrier has yet to be determined.

The teams met for the first time last year in College Park, Maryland, in the Terps’ inaugural season in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes won, 52-24.

Ohio State has announced four start times so far, with the other three all night games: home games with Penn State on Oct. 17 and Minnesota on Nov. 7 and at Rutgers on Oct. 24.
