COLUMBUS – Pelotonia clearly benefitted from a return to in-person riding.
The cycling event attracted almost 6,000 riders and raised $19,313,532 for cancer research, over twice the amount raised during the pandemic-hampered 2020 event.
That brings the total raised to date by Pelotonia to more than $236 million directly supporting cancer research.
Pelotonia has been an annual event in central Ohio since 2008 and has scheduled its 2022 ride weekend for August 5 – 7 with registration opening early next year.
