Pence returns to Ohio on eve of debate

COLUMBUS – With less than two weeks remaining before Election Day, the campaigns of the major party candidates on Wednesday concentrated on battleground states, including Ohio.

Democratic challenger Joe Biden is leading most national polls and has a narrower advantage in the battleground states that could decide the race.

Vice President Mike Pence was in Cincinnati, where he told voters that President Donald Trump is better qualified to lead the nation through a post-pandemic recovery.

While his former vice president prepped for Thursday night’s final debate with Trump, former President Barack Obama used a drive-in campaign rally in Philadelphia yesterday to assure voters that Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, can mend a fractured country.

President Trump attended a campaign event in Gastonia, North Carolina.
