COLUMBUS – Police say an 82-year-old Northeast Side man has been charged with the murder of his wife, community activist Dorothy Cage-Evans.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 10/7/19@4:47pm, officers responded to 2360 Sunbury Rd. on an unknown complaint to check on a possible homicide.
Officers found 85yo Dorothy Cage, unresponsive in the home.

Henry Evans was charged with murder after police responding to a report of a homicide found Cage-Evans, 85, unresponsive inside of the residence in the 2300 block of Sunbury Road at approximately 4:47 p.m. Monday, according to detectives with the Homicide Unit.
Cage-Evans was known for her charitable works and advocacy on behalf of the youth of Columbus through organizations such as The Columbus Foundation, Africentric Personal Development Shop and Greater Columbus Community Helping Hands.
The investigation continues.
This is the 84th homicide in Columbus in 2019.
