COLUMBUS – Police were searching for a gunman after a pizza delivery driver was shot on the East Side late Thursday night.

Officers responding to a report of a single-car accident at the intersection of Kimberly Parkway and S. Hamilton Road at approximately 10:30 p.m. found a pizza delivery driver who had been robbed and shot after being lured to a vacant address near Kenaston Drive and Weyburn Road, according to a report on WBNS 10-TV.
James Flannery, 59, had been critically injured by a gunshot and was unresponsive, Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeffrey Strayer said. Flannery was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after 11:00 p.m., Strayer said
