COLUMBUS – The choice of presidential nominees is just one of the issues on the primary election ballot in Ohio.
Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Voters will choose delegates to the presidential nominating conventions, but will also select candidates for Congress, Ohio General Assembly, county offices and committee seats for their county’s Democratic and Republican parties.

There are no statewide or countywide issues on the ballot in this election, but voters will settle a number of local ones.
Grandview Heights has a tax levy for general services.
There’s a levy in Westerville for fire protection. Blendon and Mifflin Townships will vote on spending for safety forces.
A zoning-related charter issue is at stake in Hilliard.
Levies will be on the ballot for voters in the Jonathan Alder, Licking Heights and Olentangy Local School Districts.
Liquor options will be on local ballots in Columbus, Grove City, New Albany and Westerville.
As of Monday morning, Franklin County Board of Elections spokesman Ben Piscitelli says over 41,000 had requested absentee ballots so far including some 13,000 voting early in-person compared to more than 30,000 total absentee votes cast for the most recent presidential primary in 2012.
