COLUMBUS – Columbus homicide detectives are investigating the death of a two-year-old boy earlier this month as suspicious.

Officers responding to an unknown complaint call at an apartment in the 4600 block of Refugee Road just before 4:00 p.m. MOnday afternoon discovered a child they described as “barely breathing with a possible broken arm,” Homicide Unit detectives said.
The boy was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital by Columbus paramedics but he died Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The Columbus Police Homicide Unit is currently conducting a death investigation into this incident but no charges had been filed as of early Thursday.
