COLUMBUS – The Columbus police officials are planning a series of meetings to open conversation between the division and the communities it is assigned to protect.
The Division of Police will be host five community meetings throughout the city, starting Monday and continuing into the fall.
Chief Kim Jacobs wants the meetings to improve the discussion about relations between the city’s neighborhoods and police and “how the community and police can continue to work together.”
The meetings are scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 27 – Glenwood Community Rec. Center 1888 Fairmont Ave.
Tuesday, Oct. 25 – Barnett Community Center 1184 Barnett Rd.
Thursday, Nov. 17 – Driving Park Community Rec. Center 1100 Rhoads Ave
