COLUMBUS – Police say they have arrested a fourth suspect in the 2015 murder of a West Side man whose body was discovered more than three years after he disappeared from his home on the Hilltop.

Mikhael Romanovich was arrested Saturday on felony charges related to his role in the death of Michael Cooper, who disappeared from his Haldy Avenue home in May 2015 and whose body was found in December 2018, Homicide Unit detectives said.
The 27-year-old Galloway man was charged on Oct. 30 with tampering with evidence, obstructing justice and abusing a corpse, police said.
Cooper was reported missing on May 14, 2015, his body discovered in Madison County on August 6, 2018, and his death was ruled a homicide, police said.
Warrants were issued in December 2018 charging Darion Williams with two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault and two counts of tampering with evidence and Christina Humphrey-Carpenter was charged with 1 count of Obstructing Justice.
Williiams, 28, and Humphrey-Carpenter, 31, were by Columbus SWAT officers on Dec. 22, 2018, detectives said.
Dominique Easterling was charged this May with tampering with evidence, obstructing justice and abusing a corpse and was arrested without incident on May 6.
Cooper’s death was the 100th homicide of 2015 in Columbus.
