COLUMBUS – A woman is under arrest after an argument ended in gunfire on the East Side early Monday.
Police say Tyona Dodson, 41, was arrested on a murder charge for allegedly shooting Britney Boating to death just after 1:00 a.m. in the 400 block of S. Weyant Ave.
Boateng, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Sgt. Edward Powell III of the Columbus police Homicide Unit.
Investigators determined the two women were arguing prior to the shooting, Powell said.
This is the 126th homicide of the year in Columbus.
