COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man accused of groping women on the Ohio State University campus is behind bars, facing a host of charges.
OSU police arrested Lonnie Sturdivant this past weekend for allegedly attacking two women at the Thompson Library.
The arrest ended a search for Sturdivant, 56, by Columbus police, who is accused of similar assaults last month at a restaurant near the campus.
Two reported being molested on Nov. 25 while they were sitting in the Panera Bread restaurant at 1619 N. High Street, according to investigators with the Sexual Assault Unit.
Columbus police say Sturdivant returned on Dec. 2 and groped two more women.
Sturdivant has a history of convictions for sex crimes, police said.
Columbus police have charged him with four misdemeanor counts of sexual imposition.
