COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police say a man who has been arrested for a 2013 slaying has admitted to pulling the trigger.
Jason Hodge, 18, was arrested on a murder charge in connection with the July 26 shooting at the Food Mart, 5435 E. Livingston Avenue, detectives said. Police say he told them he shot Maurice Randle
Officers responding to a reported shooting at the store shortly after 11:15 p.m. found Randle, 35, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head, detectives said.
Randle died at Grant Medical Center the following morning, the 53rd homicide victim of 2013.
