COLUMBUS – Columbus police are looking for a man accused of exposing himself to a five-year-old girl in a Northwest Side bookstore last week.
Employees at the Half Price Books in the Carriage Place Shopping Center told police the girl was in the children’s area looking at books and stuffed animals at approximately 7:30 p.m. Friday when the suspect began talking with her and exposed himself, according to detectives with the Columbus Police Sexual Assault Unit.
Investigators say there was no sexual contact between the suspect – described as a white man between 40 and 50 years of age.
The suspect left the store in a hurry, police said.
