COLUMBUS – Police have released the name of the man they reportedly believe was the triggerman in the murders of four people whose bodies were found in the basement of a South Linden home Saturday morning.

Robert Lee Adams, 27, (below) has been charged with four counts of murder, five counts each of kidnapping and robbery and one count of felonious assault, according to homicide detective Sgt. David Sicilian.

The arrest warrant was filed following the discovery Saturday morning of the bodies of two men and two women in the lower level of a house on E. Hudson Street

Sicilian said Tuesday the crime was related to drug activity at the house. Sicilian did not identify the suspect.

A 16-year-old boy called an accomplice by the county prosecutor was arrested Sunday.

A teenage girl found injured outside the home was treated at a hospital and released. Sicilian said the girl is under police protection while Adams is at large.
