COLUMBUS – Police have releases surveillance photos of the man who fatally shot a Northeast store employee and wounded his daughter earlier this month.
Detectives say the man walked into the La Michoacana Market, 3881 Cleveland Avenue, just after 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 15 and opened fire with an assault rifle, hitting Bacilio Alcauter, 36, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and his 15-year-old daughter was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
The motive remains unknown but police said it does not appear to be an attempted robbery.
