COLUMBUS – Columbus police are looking for the man they say gunned down another man following an argument at a South Side bar early Saturday.

Investigation say the suspect had been involved in a “minor altercation” with customers at to T.K.’s Sports Bar, 3505 Parsons Avenue, and left the area but returned with a handgun and shot Joseph Edward Fisher, Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeffrey Strayer said.
Officers called to the scene at approximately 1:42 a.m. found Fisher, 27, lying on the ground in the parking lot. He was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 2:23 a.m., Strayer said.
Strayers says police have developed a person of interest in the shooting and are currently attempting to locate and interview that man.
This was the third homicide of 2020 in Columbus, where police investigated 104 murders last year, below the average of 11 for the past four years, according to a report in the The Columbus Dispatch.
