COLUMBUS – Police are looking for a 32-year-old Northeast Side man in connection with a fatal shooting on the Hilltop Wednesday night.

Dwight Turner Jr., whose address was given as on Morsetowne Court South, was charged with murder in the death of Ronald Jones at a home on Oakley Avenue, Sgt. David Shimberg of the Homicide Unit said.
Officers found Jones, 34, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting at 10:58 p.m. by Columbus paramedics.
Witnesses at the scene told police Turner had shot Jones and fled the scene, Shimberg said.
This was the 35th homicide of the year in Columbus.
The motive for the shooting was not clear Thursday morning and the investigation was still ongoing.
