COLUMBUS – Authorities say a 17-year-old girl has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of her one-year-old daughter on the Southeast Side
Officers and paramedics called to a home in the 800 block of S. 22nd Street just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday on a report of a baby not moving and in need of medical attention found Lalanna Sharpe with several stab wounds, Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeff Strayer said.
She was pronounced dead a short time later at Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Strayer says Lachelle Anderson was arrested and has been charged with murder.
It’s unclear if Anderson has an attorney who could comment on her behalf.
