COLUMBUS – Forget your mask on the way to catch your flight? Don’t worry. Just grab one from a vending machine at the airport.

he Columbus Regional Airport Authority has installed personal protective equipment vending machines at John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Rickenbacker International Airport, where passenger can buy face masks, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, disposable gloves and non-contact infrared thermometers.
The items can be paid for by credit card, contactless-enabled cards or mobile payment.

At John Glenn International, the machines are located pre-security near the Transportation Security Administration checkpoints of Concourses A, B and C. At the Rickenbacker Passenger Terminal, a machine is located in the ticket lobby.

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has implemented a new print-on-demand temporary tag service, allowing driver to print their 45-day temporary tag without going into a deputy registrar’s office.
Motorists who buy vehicles through private sales, new residents who are in the process of getting an Ohio title and customers that have purchased a vehicle from a dealership that does not sell temporary tags can take advantage of this new service, available at OPLATES.com.
During state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the expirations date for Ohioans whose driver’s license, ID card, or vehicle registration — including plates and stickers — expired on or after March 9 has been automatically extended until 90 days after the state of emergency ends or December 1, whichever comes first.
