COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 20th-ranked Buckeyes lost to Purdue, 60-58, at West Lafayette Wednesday night.
It was the third straight win over a ranked team for the Boilermakers.
Rapahel Davis scored 20 points as Purdue held on after scoring 10 straight points to take a 52-44 lead.
Shortly before tip-off, the athletic department announced that sophomore forward Marc Loving did not travel with the team.
The only reason cited for his absence was that he had “temporarily lost his privilege to wear the scarlet and gray.”
