Hillary Clinton’s Democratic presidential campaign says Obama will lead a “get out the early vote” rally Oct. 14. More details will be announced later.

Obama was already scheduled to headline the Ohio Democratic Party’s annual dinner at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Oct. 13.

Some recent polls have indicated Republican Donald Trump is running slightly ahead of Clinton in the swing state. Obama carried Ohio twice, making frequent visits during his campaigns.

Both the Clinton and campaign and that of Republican rival Donald Trump are reminding Ohioans to start voting early. The deadline to register is Oct. 11 and early voting begins the next day.

Former President Bill Clinton continues a campaign trip through the state. After stops in Athens and Steubvenville Tuesday, he will headline a “voter registration breakfast” in Youngstown Wednesday morning and another event in Canton in the afternoon.
