COLUMBUS – For the second night in a row, the Clippers – the best team in the International League West Division – lost to the top team in the East.
Daniel Camarena (4-4) struck out 10 hitters while holding Columbus to just four hits over 6 2/3 innings as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders beat the Clippers, 3-1, in the second game of a four-game series at PNC Field.
The RailRiders scored all three of their runs in the fifth inning, two of them on an RBI triple by Thairo Estrada off losing pitcher Eli Morgan (0-1).
Yu Change scored the Clippers’ only run in the seventh on a single by Ka’ai Tom.
The series continues Wednesday night.
