COLUMBUS – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders posted their first-ever shutout victory at Huntington Park on Wednesday night by handing the Clippers a 5-0 defeat, dropping their record at home to 5-14.

RailRiders starter Domingo German (1-0) tied his career-high mark with 10 strikeouts over seven innings of three-hit ball.

Shawn Morimando (2-5) took the loss after surrendering four runs, including three home runs in the first two innings while the Clippers only managed 5 hits and stranded 10 baserunners.

The series continues at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday night.
