COLUMBUS – Dan Butler’s home run and four RBI lifted the Pawtucket Red Sox past the Clippers, 6-4, in the opener of a four-game, holiday-weekend series at McCoy Stadium on Thursday night.
It was the Clippers’ first loss in four games.
Butler put the game out of reach in the 3rd inning when he drilled a three-run home run into Pawtucket’s bullpen to put the Pawsox up 6-2.
