Red Wings 6, Clippers 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Rochester Red Wings scored five runs in the fifth inning to beat the Clippers, 6-0, in a rain-shortened game Tuesday and snap an eight-game losing streak.

The big fifth inning was powered by four home runs before a rain delay occurred in the bottom of the sixth and the game was deemed final.

Trevor Bauer (4-1) gave up four homers and took the loss. Trevor May (2-3) got the win.

Game two of the four-game series is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
