COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers limped out of Rochester on the wrong side of an 8-4 ballgame Thursday.
The Red Wings scored four runs off C.C. Lee and Kyle Crockett in the fifth inning to take an 8-3 lead.
It would have been worse, but out at home, but Eddie Rosario was thrown out trying to score on Reynaldo Rodriguez’s line drive double to right field.
Jordan Cooper (0-1) took the loss for the Clippers, who travel to Syracuse for a three-game series.
