CLEVELAND (AP) — A person familiar with the situation says Dwyane Wade has decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wade cannot clear waivers until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and the person tells The Associated Press that once he does he will sign with the Cavs.
In Cleveland, Wade, a 12-time All-Star and three-time NBA champion, will be reunited with former Miami teammate LeBron James.
The two won a pair of NBA titles during their four seasons together with the Heat.
