Reward for tips about racist school graffiti

COLUMBUS – School district officials estimate that vandals who spray-painted swastikas and racist graffiti on facilities at New Albany High School earlier this week caused more than $16,000 in damages.

The graffiti was spray-painted sometime overnight Sunday or early Monday on tennis courts and an equipment shed at the high school and at Wexner Park, said Michael Sawyers, superintendent of the New Albany-Plain Local Schools.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward as well as taking donations and Sawyers Is asking anyone with any information to contact the New Albany Police Department at 614-855-3913.
