COLUMBUS – The Clippers fell short in the finale of a series against St. Paul, falling to the Saints, 11-10, in front of a Father’s Day crowd of over 10,000 fans at Huntington Park.
Alex Call hit a grand slam in the Clippers’ six-run seventh inning as Columbus cut the Saints’ lead to one run.
David Fry hit his 11th home run of the season, drove in another run and scored for Columbus.
Franmil Reyes, on a rehab assignment from the Clippers’ parent club, the Cleveland Guardians, hit his second home run of the season at the AAA level.
