COLUMBUS – Mark Contreras hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning off Columbus starter Kevin Herget (1-3) to lead the St. Paul Saints to an 8-3 win over the Clippers Tuesday in the first game of a six-game series at Huntington Park.
The two teams meet Wednesday night for the second game of the series.
